A constipated mind, transfixed by the finish line; the final day of first grade.
A week that resembled the others that came before, yet the hour hand rotated more swiftly. Today is the day, a few hours until the house erupts from it’s slumber; a silly half day to mark the occasion. The oldest excited to be ending a stellar year in the first grade, his younger brother on the other hand has no idea that the world is about to change. The baby has grown accustomed to having the house to himself and won’t be to keen on sharing the staff with his brother; I am the staff and the staff is more than ready for summer.
Two hours until the first alarm nudges my wife and I awake to our first last day of first grade. We made it. ♥
In keeping with a tradition set into motion seven days ago this is the second offering of the Friday Dump. The Friday Dump is all the unpublished; started but didn’t and probably won’t finish posts from the last seven days.
This week produced only the words in this post so that’s what there is. Next week or the one 9 weeks from now may be drastically different, or similar; not a time traveler in that way, so I don’t know.
mrozine did have new photos posted; which was nice. Orlampaland is still a thing and is one of the major projects of the Summer; that and the robot. The boys want to set up a studio for video creation; the staff held meetings and agreed to the proposed endeavor. It’s going to be fun.
Hello. It’s good of you to stop by; I hope you are well. My name is Mikhael Ro & I am from Florida.
You may have already come across some of my work here on the internet. The Random series and the While We Waited collection were both received well gathering far reaching support and a bit of praise. Both, the Random photo series & the While We Waited collection are growing with the next step towards the “end goal” set for a Spring 2017 release.
Father, Husband, Son
Our oldest just started 1st grade and couldn’t be more excited about being “all grown up.” The baby, isn’t so much the baby anymore; talking, walking, and climbing are quickly becoming standard activities. Just as the boy has gone back to school so has my wife. Assuming that everything works out, she won’t be teaching after this week and will move on to her new position with the ESE department.
We have a date day on Saturday!
A Saturday with no kids… Just my wife and I; all day and night without our children. I’ve reread those words over and over, still grasping at their meaning… the “no kids” part is euphoric. The mere thought triggers a blissful state of being; I should be careful while driving.
With plans of staying close to home falling to the way side and seeing that we will be sans children Saturday, my wife has made a couple Fastpass selections for the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. I was a little bummed to learn we would not be having breakfast at Trails End; I guess it’s called brunch now. If in fact we make the journey to the Settlement to partake in this new brunch thing; we will board a boat to travel to the Magic Kingdom. That’s usually nice.
One of those Fastpasses is for the Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train around 11pm; we’ll skip any sort of traditional video for that and just refer to the 3am ride through… let us take a look; maybe we missed something and should reconsider a new night time video.
